Standard Chartered has welcomed a new cohort of women owned startups into its Women in Tech Accelerator Programme, reinforcing efforts to support female entrepreneurship and innovation in Ghana’s growing tech ecosystem.
The programme provides selected founders with mentorship, business development support, networking opportunities, and access to funding pathways aimed at helping their ventures scale sustainably. The latest intake includes startups operating across sectors such as fintech, health, digital services, and enterprise solutions.
This initiative reflects a broader push to close gender gaps in Africa’s startup ecosystem, where women led businesses often face limited access to capital and growth opportunities despite rising innovation potential.
