Over the past several weeks, thousands of members of the public rallied behind their favourite startups, casting votes for solutions tackling challenges across education, fintech, agriculture, mobility, enterprise software, digital infrastructure, and other sectors. The public voting round showcased not only the quality of innovation being built, but also the growing support for Ghana's emerging startup ecosystem.

With public voting now concluded, the competition enters its most critical phase. The finalists will pitch their products before a panel of Moolre representatives and leaders from Ghana's technology ecosystem, who will evaluate each solution based on innovation, execution, market potential, scalability, and impact.
The Moolre Startup Cup was designed to be more than a startup competition. It is a platform that enables builders to validate ideas, gain national visibility, connect with mentors and industry leaders, and demonstrate how local innovation can solve real-world problems using Moolre's payment infrastructure.
"Public support has brought these founders to the final stage. Now they have the opportunity to demonstrate the strength of their products, the clarity of their vision, and their readiness to build solutions that can scale," said the Moolre Startup Cup team.
The Moolre Startup Cup is a four-month buildathon that began in June, featuring a total prize pool of GHS 245,000 across twenty awards. As the competition enters the live pitching stage, finalists will compete for the championship title alongside several category awards recognizing excellence in fintech, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, innovation, and other sectors.
Pitch Day begins on 1 August 2026, with the competition culminating in the Grand Finale on 29 August 2026, where the overall winners will be announced.
Moolre congratulates all eleven finalists and extends its appreciation to every founder, supporter, voter, mentor, and community member who has contributed to making this year's Startup Cup a celebration of Ghanaian innovation.
