Nominations Open for the 6th Ghana FinTech Awards

The Ghana FinTech Awards has officially opened nominations for its 6th edition, calling on the public and the industry to put forward the individuals, teams and companies shaping Ghana’s fintech story.

Nominations are open from Wednesday, 21st October to Saturday, 21st November 2026. The 6th Ghana FinTech Awards will be held on Saturday, 27th March 2027. The official launch took place at the Kempinski, Accra.

Over the past few years, Ghana’s fintech ecosystem has grown through new products, partnerships and approaches to payments, lending, savings and financial access. The Awards exist to recognise the people and institutions behind that progress and to encourage excellence across the sector.

“AI and digital assets are redefining the future of payments: making money move smarter, faster, and across borders with greater inclusion and opportunity,” said Cristina Swan-Awagah, Project Coordinator, Ghana FinTech Awards.

She added that the Awards give the industry a chance to recognise those leading this change, and encouraged the public and industry players to submit their nominations before the deadline.

Now, investors are backing a different kind of builder; those solving the physical bottlenecks that prevent economies from growing. From logistics networks and energy infrastructure to industrial technology, a new investment thesis is emerging across the continent.
